FEMS Fire Boat Marine 1
Marine 1 is VIFEMS’ fireboat, dedicated to responding to emergencies on the water and safeguarding our communities. The vessel is named in honor of Captain Antonio William Hendricks, a retiree of the Virgin Islands Fire Service prior to its integration in 2022 into what is now the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services (VIFEMS). Marine 1 reinforces VIFEMS’ commitment to public safety and keeping the Virgin Islands secure.
